EOS Lip Balm Causes Panic in Recent Lawsuit

Your skin is a vital part of your overall health. For many people, the most common skincare item bought is lip balm. For men and women of all ages, lip balm has become a daily necessity. However, the skin on your lips can be easily damaged, so it is of the utmost importance to use products that are sensitive towards this delicate skin.

One woman who recently used EOS lip balm had a horrible reaction to the egg-shaped balm. Her mouth, lips, and surround areas all broke out in painful rashes, dry skin, and blisters. The victim, Rachel Cronin, noted that she had to quickly seek medical care because of the extreme pain. Her mouth felt like “sandpaper” and her lips started to crack and bleed as she tried to move it to talk.

Ms. Cronin has decided to sue EOS for the personal damages to her skin. She noted that after posting a picture of her affected mouth on her Facebook page, she received a myriad of responses from people who had similar skin reactions due to EOS products.

EOS released a statement that they feel the lawsuit is without merit, and that they stand by their products and the high quality ingredients that they use. However, we have to wonder what exactly it means when EOS lip balms say they are 99% natural. What exactly is in the other 1%? It turns out, that unnatural 1% contains polyglyceryl-3 dilsostearate, sodium isostearoyl lactylate, sodium hyaluronate, stevia rebaudiana leaf/stem extract, tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate, and a few other unnatural ingredients dependent on flavor. With chemical ingredients such as these, it can be hard to determine if someone may have an unfavorable reaction.

Make sure to always check the ingredients in the products you are using. Always opt for organic, vegan, cruelty-free ingredients. Don’t just read the label and pay attention to the advertising, carefully read what is actually in the product itself.

The banana industry is an $11 billion dollar industry, and bananas are enjoyed around the world. However, a terrible disease is spreading through Australia, South Asia, Africa and the Middle East and infecting bananas. The biggest problem about all of this? The disease is a fungicide resistant pathogen that’s spreading to other areas.

There is currently no way to kill this disease, called Panama disease. It’s transmitted through both water and soil, and can lay dormant for as long as 30 years...

Tea is a unique drink that offers health benefits unknown to any other food or drink. There’s something about nature that instinctively knows what our bodies need, and the less we try to change it, the better. More and more research is being discovered about why exactly drinking tea has so many beneficial properties over trying to take a pill, extract, or supplement. The result is always the same- the less unnatural changes tea leaves go through, the more health-promoting they are.

Many people care about their health, but find that it is hard to get all of the supplements and nutrition they need from their food. The only way to get all of the daily nutrition you need is through cold pressed juicing- otherwise you’d be eating mainly raw vegetables and fruit all day in order to get all of the vitamins and minerals you need.

In order to give their health a boost, many people turn to herbal supplements. Common supplements include Echinacea, ginseng, gingko biloba, and so many more. These supplements can help with staying healthy, avoiding sickness, increasing metabolism, etc. However, the lack of regulation over herbal supplements has allowed the general public to be taken advantage of.
